Barbados latest road fatality victims have been identified.
They are 39 year old Tammi Bryant of Vaucluse Tenantry, Hanpond, St. Thomas and 37 year old Akeem Ricardo Hunte of St. Judes, St. George.
Earlier today, authorities from the Hastings/ Worthing Police were dispatched to the scene of yet another tragic accident at the intersection of St. Matthias and Hastings on Highway 7.
A male and a female passenger lost their lives when the gold-coloured Toyota Corolla they were travelling in crashed on the main road in Christ Church.
Among the four occupants, Hunte succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while Bryant passed away at the crash site.
The driver, a male, and another female passenger were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital via ambulance. Both individuals reported back and shoulder injuries, which emergency medical technicians deemed non-life-threatening.
