The Barbados Revenue Authority urges the public not to wait until the last minute to file their taxes even as the filing deadline expires in a matter of days.

BRA’s Manager of Tax Operations, Linda Best, spoke with Starcom Network News, after a taxpayer took to social media yesterday complaining about the long lines and the length of time it takes to be seen at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed where the BRA has set up a tax clinic.

Ms. Best says they are working towards having all clients dealt with as quickly as possible.

Ms. Best urges taxpayers to file as soon as possible.
