B’dos to earn more than $100M from World Cup

The Chairman of the National Organizing Committee, Noel Lynch, tells Starcom Network News, the number is just a conservative estimate based on expected tourism and hospitality spend.

He believes Barbados will get invaluable exposure from the hosting of the event.

Mr. Lynch also sought to explain why Oistins Bay Garden has been targeted for a near five million dollar renovation.

He believes other areas will also eventually be upgraded.
