The owner of Lucas Bar in Weston St. James is thankful for life following a robbery at her establishment.
The incident which occurred at around 3pm on Monday is one of the latest in a recent spate of robberies.
The owner Evelin Lucas told Starcom Network News that a man entered the bar and requested food and drink before robbing the establishment of an undisclosed sum of cash.
Although Ms. Lucas was left shaken by the incident she said she will continue to operate her business.
Her sister who wasn’t there at the time of the incident expressed concern about the crime situation in the country.
