A 32-year-old St. Michael man is Barbados’ latest hominicide victim.

Patrick Best of Hilton Row, Princess Royal Avenue, the Pine, St Michael died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital while being treated for a gunshot wound to the head.

He was one of two men shot at Princess Royal Avenue in the Pine Saturday afternoon.

The police say that at about 2:45 pm officers responded to a report of two males being shot at Hilton Row, Princess Royal Avenue, St. Michael.

The two were in the backyard of a residence watching television when gunshots were fired through the paling structure of the residence.

Best was hit in his head and arm while a 36 year old man was shot in one leg. They were both transported to the QEH by private transport.
