The late former Barbados Police Commissioner, Grantley Watson, has been eulogized as a disciplined and focused man who represented the best of what Barbados has to offer.

This was among the glowing tributes that flowed at Mr. Watson’s funeral service at the St. Thomas Parish Church before the interment at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens in St. Peter.

It was the first official funeral accorded a Barbados Commissioner of Police and was attended by a host of dignitaries led by the President and the acting Prime Minister.

Mr. Watson’s daughter, Attorney at Law and Opposition Senator Tricia Watson, declaring that she was unapologetically a daddy’s girl, described her late father as a man who rose to the top through dedication and hard work.
