New PSV Head Wants Stricter Permit Vetting

The Association of Public Transport Operators is calling for increased oversight in the issuance of licenses to Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators.

The newly elected Chairman of the association, Anwar Nana, has stated that their primary objective is to address the behaviour of PSV operators and improve the safety and efficiency of the country’s transportation system.

He believes that PSV drivers should receive specialized training before they are granted a license.

Mr. Nana says the association will be pushing for the cashless system to be implemented.
