MP for St. James Central, Kerrie Symmonds has chastised telecommunications company Digicel over the controversial cell tower that has been erected in his constituency.
Government says no permission was given for its erection and residents of Olive Lodge Road, St. James have threatened to protest if the cell tower is not removed.
Mr. Symmonds tells Starcom Network News that people must come first and termed the company’s behavior vulgar.
He states that the matter is now before the Planning and Development Department.
