The National Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated has launched a major promotion at the Trinidad Carnival to highlight the Barbadian artistes and their music and the Crop Over Festival overall.
A contingent of about twenty artistes and musicians is performing at some of the major carnival events and also making media appearances.
Soca artiste Fada Fox, real name Nicholas Sealy, is helping to coordinate the promotion.
Hypasounds, Damien Etienne, is one of the Bajan performers involved in the Crop Over Promotion.
He believes the project is very beneficial to the artistes.
