Admiral’s Miami Case Dismissed

The Domestic violence charge against Barbadian radio personality Anthony “Admiral” Nelson has been dismissed by a court in Miami.

Mr.  Nelson appeared virtually this morning before a Florida Judge to answer to the charge of domestic violence battery.

Mr. Nelson had been arrested by Miami Dade Police a month ago and appeared in a Florida Court but was released on bail and was allowed to return home.

He told Starcom  Network News then that he was confident of a positive outcome  once the truth came to light.

The alleged incident was said by court documents to have occurred at a Florida hotel where Mr. Nelson and a female companion were staying following an ocean cruise.

Mr. Nelson had retained both Barbados and U.S. attorneys.

His local legal representative Senior Counsel Michael Lashley had stated that he has been working with Mr. Nelson’s U.S. attorney to resolve the matter.

Mr. Nelson was this morning represented at the local end by Mr. Lashley along with Fay Burke collaborating with Broward and Miami Dade Attorney, Lindsay Chase.

Mr. Lashley briefed Starcom Network News following the hearing.
