A man collapsed and died outside the Granville Williams Bus Terminal ats Fairchild Street in the Bridgetown last night.

Starcom Network News understands that the deceased has been identified as 69 year old Michael Waldrond of Sobers Lane, St. Michael.

The incident happened about 20 minutes to ten and a medical doctor pronounced death at the scene an hour later.

The deceased, who worked as a security guard in the Dover, Christ Church area, was said to be on his way to work when the incident happened.

Eyewitnesses told Starcom Network News that Mr. Waldrond was walking in the area outside the terminal when he stopped and held on to a pole before slumping to the ground where he passed away on the pavement.
