A man has been hospitalized after being shot multiple times in an incident near his home at Coverly Terrace, Christ Church last night.

The police say the shooting occurred about 10:39 p.m., when the victim, a male in his early 30s, was on his way home from a neighbour’s house.

He was reportedly attacked and shot at by two unknown men who then ran away from the area.

The victim suffered several injuries to his lower body and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private motor car.
