A body believed to be that of a missing man has been retrieved from a well amidst speculation of an abduction, robbery and murder.
The body is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be that of 28-year-old Mitchell Nicholls, one the proprietors of the Nicholls Bakery family business.
Mr. Nicholls who was last seen alive on December 23rd, was one of the people honored during the Independence Day awards.
He was awarded for helping to design national insignia including the Order of Freedom of Barbados and was also said to be pursuing a degree in theology.
The body was found in a 30-foot well at Exchange Hill, near Bibbys Lane, St. Michael.
Starcom Network News understands that two suspects may be in custody.

The body was retrieved by Lieutenant Rudolph Morris of the Barbados Defense Force.

People gathered near the area where the body was found expressing anger and despair over what allegedly transpired.
They speculated that the alleged perpetrators were people who were known to the deceased and may even be people he had helped.
