The Barbados Water Authority says it is putting measures in place to resolve the issue of discolored water at its Bowmanston Station in St. John.
The BWA had to shut down the station more than six times this year to due to this problem.
Residents in parts of St. John, St. George, and St. Philip have been affected.
Director of Engineering at the BWA, Charles Leslie, says the challenges have been caused by the sharp, frequent bursts of rainfall that the country has been experiencing.
