A 14 -year-old boy is in police custody after being held with a replica firearm at Sheraton Centre Mall in Christ Church last weekend.
Starcom Network News understands the youngster was held with the mock gun at the mall on Saturday.
A video which has been making the rounds on social media shows the boy being held down by a police officer in plain clothes with uniformed security guards also present.
After the 14 year old was held it was then learnt that the weapon in his possession was an imitation firearm but he remains in custody as police continue their investigations into the matter.
