Family, friends and well-wishers of the late Richard Stoute today paid their final respects to the entertainment icon.
The renowned founder of the Richard Stoute Teen Talent Contest was laid to rest following his funeral service at the Wildey Gymnasium.
The service began this morning with a number of speeches and musical tributes.
Prime Minister Mia Mottley, other government officials, and several entertainers were all in attendance.
In a tribute, Richard’s son, Kevin Stoute, described his father as a selfless individual who would give of his last to others.
Prime Minister Mia Mottley also paid tribute. She explained the reasoning behind naming the new Amphitheatre at the Botanical Gardens in his honor.
