A 50 year old motorcyclist is this country’s latest road fatality.
Lerie Neil Carasco of #2 Hill Crest Avenue Fort George Heights St. Micheal died after he collided with a car along the Barrow section of the ABC Highway at the junction of Mount Friendship Road St. Michael.
The accident occurred around 9:45 last night. The driver of the car is a 58 year old male of Parish Land, Christ Church.
Police say both vehicles were traveling south along the highway when they collided. The bike caught fire after the impact. Caraso was pronounced dead at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
