IMF Highlights Guyana’s Record Economic Growth

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says the Guyanese economy continues to experience record growth, supported by the government’s modernization plans and unparalleled oil and gas sector expansion.

The IMF’s executive board in its latest assessment on Guyana says the country’s overall real GDP is projected to grow by 38.4 per cent this year and on average of 20 per cent per year over the next four or five years.
