FTC Says No to Barbados Light and Power

The Fair Trading Commission has denied the Barbados Light and Power Company’s application request for a rate increase.

The decision was announced this afternoon during a media briefing at the FTC’s headquarters where Chairman Dr. Donley Carrington said the decision was made following careful consideration of both oral and written submissions.
