A pedestrian has been struck by a car and seriously injured at Alleynedale, St. Lucy.
The accident occurred about ten minutes past seven tonight (Monday).
It involved a motor car driven by a 30 year old female from St. Lucy and a 54 year old pedestrian who resides in St Peter.
Reports indicated the pedestrian appeared to wander into the path of the motor car.
He suffered lacerations to his head and legs and was taken to the Queen Elizabth Hospital by ambulance.
