The Barbados Revenue Authority will be auctioning another 44 properties and has given the owners until December 13th to pay the land tax arrears.
In a notice of sale published in the press the Revenue Commissioner has ordered the sale by public auction of the properties.
The Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Ryan Straughn this year noted there has been a noticeable increase in the number of people coming forward to pay their arrears.
In early June this year the Revenue Authority had scheduled the sale of 20 properties in an attempt to recover some of the millions of dollars owed.
