A female student is the victim of the latest apparent suicide.

Starcom Network News understands that the female secondary school student passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she had been taken.

The family reportedly resided in St. Philip.

The death has shocked and deeply saddened school mates of the deceased as they say the young lady seemed to have been in good spirits during their most recent interactions with her and that they saw no sign that this was coming.

Students have reportedly been posting on social media comments such as: “You need to check on your friends”.
