A man remains hospitalized with multiple gunshot injuries suffered in a shooting at Bourne’s Land, Silver Sands, Christ Church last night.
Police say at around 8:40 last pm, the victim who is in his 30’s, was sitting next to a shop with a number of people when a man approached them from behind and fired several shots at them.
The assailant ran off in the direction of the St. Christopher Primary School.
The victim who suffered multiple injuries to his right hand and shoulder was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
The victim’s father, Michael Ellis, tells Starcom Network New he was home when the gun shots rang out.
Mr. Ellis believes his son may have been targeted.
