Sixty roads across Barbados are being resurfaced to improve access to communities.

The Community Access Road Transformation, or CART, project will surface roads and in some cases provide utility connections such as water mains.as.

The plan was outlined by the minister responsible, Santia Bradshaw, who was speaking at Edgecliff ,St. John, where the project has commenced.

She said that the roads will be transformed into conventional surface roads using the similar milling material as was used for the airport’s runway.
