Cayman Airways commences a new scheduled service to Barbados from next month as tourism officials report progress in establishing Barbados as an eastern Caribbean air hub.
Chair of Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporated Shelly Williams led a delegation to the Cayman Islands last week to officially launch the service that will begin on October 18th.
She tells Starcom Network News the service forms part of a wider strategy.
She stressed the importance of these air links as they develop the air hub.
