QEH Engineering Staff Stage Work Stoppage

Staff of the engineering department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital have staged a work stoppage to protest over a number of issues including health and safety concerns.

The National Union of Public Workers’ Industrial Relations Officer assigned to the QEH, Lisa Allicock, highlighted the main grievances.

The NUPW’s Acting General Secretary, Wayne Walrond, said there will be further action if the matters are not addressed.
