An elderly man was last night run over and killed by a Sanitation Service Authority truck.
The accident occurred about
11 30 pm at Sugar Cane Avenue, Husbands, St. James, near Big V’s Snackette and Bar.
The victim has been identified as 75 year old Grantley Skeete alias Bucky of number 42 Westwood Park, Husbands, St. James.
Reports indicate that Mr. Skeete stumbled and fell as the SSA skip truck was approaching and was run over by the vehicle.
He died at the scene.
