The Barbados Association of Creatives and Artistes is in support of calls for entertainers to invest in pension plans for after they retire.
The Minister responsible for Culture, Dr. Shantal Monroe-Knight on Sunday encouraged artistes to have these measures in place once they stop performing.
BACA President, Colin Spencer also believes it is important that artistes think ahead.
He says there are plans to educate creatives about the importance of contributing to the National Insurance Scheme.
