Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has restated government’s determination to overhaul this country’s education system while indicating the reform will take place over a number of years.
She was speaking at the presentation of a report on Barbados’ economic development by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, CAF.
Miss Mottley describes the education overhaul as a multi-year reform effort.
Prime Minister Mottley emphasized the government’s determination to ensure no child is disadvantaged in the system.
She announced a new book grant for primary school children.
