Four young people are now in police custody for allegedly attacking a number of homeless people in Bridgetown over the weekend.
At least 7 people were injured with one victim being stabbed, in the wee hours of Sunday morning, in what was just one out of a series of recent attacks on the homeless staying in the city.
President of the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness, Kemar Saffrey following the incidents, called for the offenders to feel the full weight of the law, as he feared that such attacks could continue.
Police Commissioner Richard Boyce disclosed that a number of suspects have been held.
