President of the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness, Kemar Saffrey, says the number of people living on this country’s streets is a national crisis and getting worse and he believes state agencies need to do more to help.
He was speaking to Starcom Network News today following the latest in a series of attacks on homeless people in Bridgetown.
He wants other agencies to do more to get the elderly and people with mental challenges off the streets.
