The Government will launch a national hotline at the end of this month to try to help young people who may be struggling with their mental health or other challenges.
The announcement by Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Charles Griffith follows a recent spate of suicides.
He made the disclosure at the launch of educational specialist Dr. Astra Babb’s “Babb’s Reading Clinic” at the Barbados Community College this morning.
Mr. Griffith says they will hire trained counsellors to lend support.
