Despite Recent Shootings Crime Prevention Chief says Truce is Holding

Government’s crime prevention chief believes the anti-violence truce is holding despite a recent spate of shootings and robberies and he has outlined a strategy to counter the upsurge in certain crimes.

Minister responsible for crime prevention, Corey Lane, has said what he thinks is driving the series of robberies and sought to explain how he plans to tackle it.

He was speaking on the sidelines of a graduation ceremony for students of the Westbury Primary School.  It was held at the St. Leonard’s Anglican Church.

 

He has a plan to deal with it.
