Two Men Missing After Car Shot-Up

A day after a car was riddled with bullets in St. Phillip the two alleged occupants of the vehicle remain missing as relatives hope for the best and some fear the worst.

The police say that about three minutes past noon yesterday they received a report of shots fired at Farm Road, St. Philip and officers who responded found an empty car abandoned along the roadway.

Several of what appeared to be bullet holes were visible in the red Suzuki Swift.

Randy Brathwaite of Blades Hill, St. Phillip is said to be one of the men who were travelling in the car when it was attacked.

This morning when Starcom Network News visited his relative’s residence Randy’s sister Beverly Brathwaite spoke of the family’s distress over the events.

He has not returned home and they have not been able to contact him since the incident.

 

Ms. Brathwaite says the family is distraught.

 

Beverly Brathwaite, the sister of Randy Brathwaite who has not been seen since a car he was believed to be travelling in was fired on yesterday.

No one appeared to be at home when we visited the residence of the other man who is alleged to have been in the car.

But a neighbor who didn’t want to be identified said the entire situation is frightening and has left them shaken.
