The assistant on a Barbados Water Authority water tanker has been killed after the vehicle ran off the road at Boscobelle, St. Peter today.

The man, part of a two-man crew, was thrown from the truck and died at the location.

Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer, Inspector Rodney Inniss, briefed Starcom Network News  on arrival at the scene.

The tanker driver was injured.
