Seven people lost their home in a fire at Mayers Road, My Lord’s Hill St. Michael this morning.
This is the third house destroyed in a fire in three consecutive days.
The house was occupied by a mother and her six children and all possessions were lost in the blaze.
When Starcom Network News visited the scene, the owner was still in shock and too distraught to speak.
However, her niece Shae Yearwood said the fire started sometime around 8am and she is thankful the children were at school when it occurred.
Meantime MP for the area Trevor Prescod tells Starcom Network News he is requesting help for the mother and her children.
