Two people are missing and feared to have perished in a house fire at Heddings Development, St. Philip.

The occupants of the home are said by residents to be a woman in her early 40s and her eight year old daughter.

Residents were alerted to the blaze about 5 am.

The wood and concrete home has been destroyed and an apartment building next door has been slightly damaged.
