A 30 year old man has been shot dead at Silver Sands, Christ Church.
The police say they received a call about 8 20 am from the brother of the deceased.
The victim has been identified as Jamal Clarke of Bournes Land, Sayers Court, Silver Sands.
The police say he was shot about his body along the roadway at Silver Sands, Christ Church.
He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
