Barbados recorded six covid-19 deaths in the first two weeks of April as the positivity rate remained around 16 percent.
The latest covid-19 situation report from the Ministry of Health states that between April 1st and 14th 134 new cases were recorded from 848 test results.
This represents a positivity rate of 15.8 percent.
Nine people remained hospitalized with covid-19 as at April 14th.
In the previous two-week period from March 18th to 31st, three covid-19 deaths were recorded.
