A family of 12 have lost their home in a fire at Seales Avenue, Tudor Bridge, St. Michael.

The blaze which occurred around 4pm (Saturday) destroyed the wooden structure and extensively damaged 4 other houses.

In total, 14 people have been displaced.

The owner of the home, Yvette Herbert, said she was at work when she received a call from a close relative.

Parliamentary representative for the area Ian Gooding- Edgill who was also at the scene said the affected families will get assistance from welfare officials
