Veteran Band Leader, Betty West, is signalling her intention to eventually step away as the face of the Betty West band.

Ms. West, who has been in the business for over thirty years, says it is becoming a struggle for traditional bands and she believes these bands are losing their relevance.

Meantime, some of party bands report strong response from masqueraders.

General manager of the Aura Experience, Rondelle Jones,  says that sections of their band have already sold out after launching just two weeks ago.
