Deadline for Use of Old I.D. Card Extended

Government has extended the time for the old National ID Card to remain valid.

The deadline for the validity of the old ID is extended until Friday, June 30th.

A news release says that until such time, people  may continue to use their old ID card to access services.

The Electoral and Boundaries Commission also advises that until June 30th, there is no charge for the first issue of the Trident ID card.

It encourages all those who have not registered for the ID card to visit the Warrens, St. Michael office, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., to be registered.
