Prime Minister Mottley has announced that the Barbados government will pay severance to all of the Barbadian former employees of the airline LIAT.
Speaking in the House of Assembly she noted that St. Lucia had already done so for its nationals.
She disclosed that 75 thousand Barbados dollar in cash will be paid to each of the 89 people.
Some will get additional compensation in bonds.
