Veteran Barbadian media executive Julian Rogers believes it’s time for some firm decisions to be made about the state-owned radio and TV station the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporaton, the CBC, which has admitted to severe financial difficulties.
CBC management recently warned staff they might be paid late this month due to the corporation’s worsening financial situation.
Mr. Rogers, who has held top media positions in Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica, spoke on the issue on VOB’s Down to Brasstacks program.
Mr. Rogers believes CBC needs an overhaul.
