An abandoned house was gutted by fire at Rose Hill in Kendall Hill, Christ Church this morning.

Acting station officer with the Barbados Fire Service, Roger Bourne, said they received a call around 9:25 am about the fire and responded with two fire tenders.

A resident, who lives nearby, Carol-Anne Carrington, explained that she started to smell smoke, when she decided to check to see what was happening.
