The Crime Prevention Minister reports Barbados’ crime rate is one of the lowest in the Caribbean region based on figures from the top 10 most dangerous Caribbean islands.
Minister in the Attorney General’s Office with responsibility for Crime Prevention, Corey Lane was speaking at the St. James Branch meeting last night.
He says the media has a major role to play on how people view crime in this country.
