Barbados Records First Murder for the Year

A man is dead at Fitts Village, St. James in what appears to be Barbados’ first murder for the year. The incident occurred just before 7 pm. Residents of the general area reported hearing gunshots. This first homicide occurs just six days into 2023. Last year Barbados recorded 43 murders, most by the gun.
