Minister Responsible for Culture, Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight, sees a role for arts and culture as part of the solution in tackling some of the issues in society including efforts to reduce crime and deviance.

The culture minister sees this as part of what she promises will be a more strategic and results focused approach to cultural policy.

And, there’ll be an effort to reach and involve as wide a cross-section of society as possible, including the disabled.
