Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is calling on international lending agencies to follow the International Monetary Fund and extend payment terms for small island developing states.
She was speaking earlier today during an IMF panel discussion on The Resilience and Sustainability Trust.
Ms. Mottley warns that the fallout from severe financial pressure could create major social difficulties in a country.
