Minister: Employers Refusing To Hire The Disabled

Government complains that employers are refusing to hire disabled people leading to extremely high unemployment among that group.

The concern was emphasized by Minister of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs Kirk Humphrey addressing the opening of an entrepreneurship symposium for people with disabilities.

He condemned what he called an unacceptable level of discrimination against that section of society.

Mr. Humphrey urges employers to change their approach.
